Losing Your Taste
Before I share with you the idea I learned…The title of this episode it “Losing your taste” and I want to be clear there are times if you cannot taste your food you need to go to your doctor. There’s a possibility you aren’t able to smell your food (part of the tasting experience) or you may have caught something like our 2020 favorite COVID-19.
So here is the idea I learned I would like to share with you…and it is perfect for Thanksgiving, any holidays and every single day of your life… When you are eating food, notice when it loses its taste.
When does the food not taste the same as the first bite you took?
Does it stop on the 20th bite or maybe it might stop on the 5th bite?
I invite you to try this little experiment next time you are eating. Now, the key to note is when the bite starts to lose its taste is usually the same time when your stomach is sending signals it is full.
Isn’t that so cool!!
So, go test it out and be REALLY honest with yourself when it starts to lose taste.
You might be surprised that it might happen only after a few bites.
