How To Hard Boil Eggs
- Place eggs gently in pot and cover with cold water just so it covers the eggs completely.
- Place pot on stove top without lid.
- Cook on high until water boils.
- Place lid on pot, turn heat off and remove pan from hot burner.
- Set timer for 20 minutes and let eggs sit in pot.
- After 20 minutes, take out eggs and place them in a large bowl that is filled with ice and cold water.
- Leave eggs in ice bath for about 10-15 minutes.
- Take them out and peel them (they are easier to peel if you do this right after ice bath).
- Place the de-shelled eggs in a container.
These egg will last about 1 week in the fridge. To make them last longer, every day rinse them with cold water in the container and drain water. Replace back into fridge.
